Interestingly enough...

"Good Friday" is a national holiday in India, while its not in USA.

Really? How strange is that? Although I am not complaining...thanks to the holiday, it was an extended weekend...and I managed to get out of town with friends.

Whenever I say this "publicly" - most Indians get very upset and take it personally. But one of the reasons that this country is so "developed" is the incredible work culture - whether "we" admit it or not. And I absolutely dont mind holidays - waiting for a long weekend for months makes it a lot more interesting.
